Apeks Stage 3 Set - XTX200 Tungsten + XTX40 Octopus + Reg Bag The XTX 200 Tungsten Regulator is a cold water compatible regulator from Apeks. This includes a balanced, dry sealed first stage and a balanced second stage with venturi control, diver adjustable breathing and a hard wearing protective finish. The XTX 200 Tungsten regulator is suitable for extreme diving and technical divers. The Reversible Venturi System (RVS) means that the XTX 200 can be converted from a right handed hose configuration (as standard) to a left handed one by an authorised Apeks technician. The Apeks XTX 200 Tungsten regulator features the Diver Changeable Exhausts system (DCE) giving the diver the ability to switch from a small exhaust tee to a large exhaust tee allowing further versatility. A wider tee provides minimal bubble interference which is suitable for underwater photography whereas a narrow exhaust tee is ideal for use as an octopus regulator. Atomic M1 Octopus Octopus. with 36" hose. Built on the same platform as the Ti2 and Z1, the M1 has some unique features that make it the choice for certain extended range applications. The M1 second stage is factory rated for oxygen-enriched mixtures up to 80%. The front cover is unique in that there are no openings in front of the cover. This helps prevent the regulator from turning on if subjected to wave surge or strong currents. The demand valve body is Zirconium plated brass for fast thermal transfer with a heat sink feature to reduce the possibility of freezing in cold water. The XTX40 octopus can be converted from a right handed hose configuration (as supplied from the APEKS factory in the standard) to a left handed one. This feature is known as the Reversible Venturi System (RVS). Changing the regulator to a left handed configuration is both quick and simple and can be performed by any APEKS Authorised Service Technician. The XTX40 octopus incorporates the new feature of Diver Changeable Exhausts system (DCE). This system gives the diver the ability to change from a small exhaust tee to a large exhaust tee.
